Donations Attendant

As a Donation Attendant at Easter Seals of Goodwill ND Inc. you'll be at the forefront of our mission to serve the community. Your role involves accepting donations at the collection site while ensuring a positive experience for donors and maintaining the integrity of our procedures.

Responsibilities: 
  • Embody and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Easter Seals Goodwill ND, Inc. (ESGWND).
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, customers, and team members.
  • Maintain punctuality by reporting for scheduled shifts reliably.
  • Work rotating shifts and weekends. 
  • Perform tasks involving standing, bending, lifting (up to 35 pounds), and sitting as needed.
  • Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding absences or schedule changes.
  • Welcome and assist donors at the collection site.
  • Follow established procedures to accept or reject donations appropriately.
  • Issue tax receipts and informational materials to donors.
  • Sort, stack, and organize donations in accordance with guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collection site.
  • Work efficiently to achieve productivity goals.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Learn and work towards forklift operation and certification with provided training.
  • Assist with production tasks during available time.
Requirements: 
  • Effective communication skills for interactions with customers, donors, and team members.
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including odors, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
  • Capacity to understand and execute instructions provided orally or in writing.
  • Knowledge of First Aid and Safety practices.
  • Access to reliable transportation for scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to life/push/pull 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
